A Place of Love and Acceptance

November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month.  There are an estimated 29,000 homeless teens in Indiana.  Outreach couldn’t do the work we do without the incredible support of our volunteers, donors and partners!

It is day 3 of showcasing some of our super volunteers.   Today we celebrate John and Lois Reeves. They are both retired – John was a Quality Manager and Lois was a teacher.  They now spend their Tuesday mornings helping Outreach with our morning Drop In.

When we asked how they have seen God transform either a youth or their lives through their volunteer work, they responded “Watching and being privileged to observe the youth grow. Being able to observe and partake in the joy as good things happen to these young kids who have found a place where they are loved for who they are.”

John and Lois – and all those who are a part of our ministry- are key pieces to showing the youth they are loved!   We are so grateful to everyone that helps us achieve our mission of transforming the lives of homeless young people!
