Knowing the Unknown – LaVon’s Story

LaVon Donigan Bradley
ARCH Manager

“Youth and young adults enter Outreach "as is" and are uncertain of the people they will encounter. I have watched a young 17-year-old mom displaying fear as she entered Outreach. I watch her sit patiently for some interaction. A volunteer walked up and asked her name and just began to talk with her. The volunteer saw the young mom and acknowledged her by sitting with her until a coach was ready for an intake with the coach. The volunteer even did a handoff to the coach on behalf of the young mom to make her feel comfortable. So many of these interactions are present at Outreach.

The ability to build authentic relationships with the youth and young adults is amazing. Support from the staff while helping the youth and young adults. Freedom to minister to those seeking a Godly connection is available. No matter how challenging it may be hearing the youth and young adults' life stories, we have been empowered to help them and give them hope.” – LaVon Donigan Bradley

In her role as a coach, she’s walked alongside youth and met them where they are in their journey to then walk alongside them as they work towards their goals. We are so excited to announce that as of January 1st, LaVon will be transitioning into the role of ARCH Manager, overseeing the ARCH program!
